Origin Story
Finca Santa Clara has been producing coffee in the Antigua valley since 1870. The farm sits on the slopes of Volcán de Agua, surrounded by three volcanic peaks that create a unique microclimate—warm days, cool nights, and rich volcanic soil that produces coffees with both body and brightness.
This lot is pure Bourbon, one of the oldest and most prized Arabica varieties. The cherries are hand-picked, wet-processed with spring water from the volcano, and sun-dried on patios over 8-10 days. The estate's 150-year-old processing infrastructure has been refined across six generations.
The cup is classic Antigua: dark chocolate richness, roasted hazelnut, and a clean orange zest brightness that keeps it lively. Medium-full body, balanced acidity, and a long, sweet finish. It's the coffee you reach for when you want something reliable and deeply satisfying.
