Origin Story
This lot comes from CENFROCAFE, a cooperative of over 2,000 smallholder farmers in the northern highlands of Cajamarca, Peru. The region is remote, accessible only by dirt roads that wind through cloud forests and steep mountain passes. That isolation has preserved both the environment and traditional farming methods.
The cooperative works exclusively with organic-certified farms, many of which have been in the same families for generations. Coffee is grown under shade trees, hand-picked, and processed at small wet mills on each farm before being transported to the cooperative's central drying facility.
The cup is clean and approachable: honey sweetness, subtle almond, and a bright citrus lift. It's a coffee that doesn't shout—it just does everything right. Medium body, gentle acidity, and a smooth finish that makes it easy to drink any time of day.
